The Alhambra branch of the Jang Mu Won Hapkido Association was created by Grandmaster Chong S. Kim, 9th degree black belt in Hapkido. The Alhambra branch school is the Headquarters for the Jang Mu Won Hapkido Association. Jang Mu Won Hapkido consists of: kicking, punching, twisting, throwing, locks, pressure points, throwing, grappling, weapons, defense against weapons, and Dan-Jun breathing.Our Classes Our classes are designed for all ages and taught by certified Jang Mu Won Black Belts (appointed by the Jang Mu Won Hapkido Association). We have a range of classes including:

Children’s classes (ages 6-12)
Adult classes (ages 13 and up)
Junior Hapki (ages 4-5)
Breathing & meditation class (Dan Ki Woon Gong)
Sparring classes
Private lessons by appointment
Weapons Training (Dan Bong, Joong Bong, Joong Jang Bong Sul, Jang Mu Kum Sul)

We also have Jang Mu Won Hapkido Training DVDs available to purchase. The DVDs are derived from the techniques taught by Grandmaster Kim.

We also offer a home study course. All color belts levels DVDs (from white belt to red black stripe II) in the Jang Mu Won Hapkido curriculum are available for purchase. 1st Dan Belt belt is also available for purchase. This program is beneficial for students to train on their own time in the comforts of their home. This is also great for students who want to refresh their techniques while they are away from the studio.
